The Canadian National Shuffleboard Association oversees the activities of all provincial associations in the country. The association brings international tournaments to Canada and sponsors these tournaments to the provinces. Governed by a board of directors, the association is also responsible for selecting team members for annual participation in the International Shuffleboard Tournament. Moreover, the association ensures that rules and regulations for play established by each provincial organization are implemented. The association envisions itself as being a vital contributor to the sport of shuffleboard, nationally and regionally. They aim to reach out to people of all ages and abilities, and be able to adapt to their changing needs.
