Overview:

The National Softball Association (NSA) was founded in 1982 by Hugh Cantrell in Lexington, Kentucky to serve as a full service organization that meets the needs of club owners and parks/recreations departments. NSA offers a system in which parks/recreation departments could have the opportunity to send softball teams directly to the State, National Regional and World Series Tournaments through NSA sanctioned leagues and qualifying tournaments. NSA aims to be the most successful softball association in the US, by achieving the following: superior team/sponsor/coach satisfaction; directors-umpires oriented environment; industry leading values/selection/services; teamwork; and ethical business conduct. NSA aims to achieve these by going by its core values such as commitment, professionalism, character, respect, and excellence.
